ABS5006 silicone foam tapes

ABS5006 is an Airbus specification for silicone elastomer foam tapes.
New Metals and Chemicals Ltd is approved as a supplier of ABS5006 with its product HT606A.

HT606A can also be supplied to AIMS04-14-002 depending upon thickness.
HT603A, which is not self-adhesive can be supplied to AIMS04-14-002 depending upon thickness.

Both products meet the smoke emission and toxicity of ABD0031 and pass the FAR25.853 flammability test.

ABS5006 is completed by a dash-no. This refers to the dimensions of the silicone foam tape. A colour identifier may also be included in the code.
